CIEI ENGLISH IMMERSION PROGRAM

Every year, we invite a number of native speakers from major English speaking countries as full-time teachers to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL) in our Program Schools.

 

Most of our teachers work for a school year between early September and late June of the following year. Sometimes, a job for a fall semester (early September - late January) or a spring semester (late Feburary - late June) is also offered.

 

Each teacher is assigned to work for one program school mainly and teach at another program school once or twice a week in case of needs.

 

Our teachers use textbooks and teaching materials provided by our Program Office or Program School(s). Classes are conducted according to our teaching calendar, weekly schedule and teaching pace.

 

In every class, a Chinese teaching assistant serves as a helper to assist each teacher in classroom management.
