Visa

A teacher with a 2-year, full-time work experience plus a 4-year college/university degree can apply for "Z" work visa to come to work in China. Our program office will provide the teacher with the Confirmation Notice of Inviting Foreign Experts and the Visa Notice. With these visa documents, s/he can go to apply for the work visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in his/her home country or in a third country where s/he is currently living. The teacher is responsible for his/her visa application fees and other related costs incurred in the visa application process.

Work visa holders will be required to get a work permit (known as Foreign Experts Certificate) and a residence permit (known as Foreigner's Residence Permit) within 30 days upon arrival in China. They will be required to sign up the Chinese government's Standard Contract - a necessary document in applying for the work permit. To get the work permit and residence permit, new teachers need to take a health check at a designated international health center upon arrival in Beijing. Our program office will arrange the visit to the health center for them, take care of the application of their work permits and residence permits, and cover relevant costs.
